About TypeBlend
TypeBlend is a font pairing and brand style generator built for designers, developers, founders, and anyone who cares about great typography. We combine curated font pairings, harmonious color palettes, and live brand previews into a single, addictive tool — plus accounts, saved styles, and a public gallery for people who want to keep coming back.

Create a free account to save your favorite styles, publish them to your profile, and pick up where you left off on any device.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TypeBlend ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use typeblend.com and its related account, subscription, and generator features (the "Service"), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and applicable Italian data protection law.
1. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
2. What Data We Collect
Account data
If you create a TypeBlend account, we collect your email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google) basic Google profile information such as your name and avatar. If you sign up with email/password, we store your hashed credentials via Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your plaintext password.
Content you create
Styles you save (font pairings, palettes, titles) are stored in our database and linked to your account. If you choose to make a style public, it appears on your public profile and in the Explore gallery under your chosen handle.
Usage and analytics data
We collect privacy-preserving, aggregate usage events (e.g. pages viewed, styles generated, feature usage) via Plausible Analytics. This does not use cookies and does not build individual profiles.
Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies/local storage for authentication sessions and to remember your cookie-consent choice. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
Payment data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we retain only subscription status, plan tier, and billing metadata needed to manage your account.
Advertising data (Free plan)
Free-plan pages may show ads served by a third-party ad network once enabled. Where ads use non-essential tracking, they will only load after you give consent via our cookie banner. Pro and Team subscribers do not see ads.
3. Lawful Bases for Processing
| Purpose | Data | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Creating and running your account, saved styles, subscriptions | Email, name, saved styles, plan | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Billing and invoicing | Payment metadata via Stripe | Contract; legal obligation (accounting law) |
| Product analytics | Aggregate usage events | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), or legitimate interest where fully anonymized |
| Advertising | Ad identifiers / cookies (once enabled) | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Security, fraud & abuse prevention | IP address, request logs, auth tokens | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Responding to your enquiries | Contact form submissions | Legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps |
4. Processors and Sub-processors
We use the following providers to operate the Service. Each acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement, and only processes data on our documented instructions.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, hosting, and network security.
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, Firestore database, and file storage. Google acts as our sub-processor for these services and may process data on infrastructure located outside the EU/EEA.
- Stripe — payment processing, invoicing, and fraud prevention for paid subscriptions.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-first, EU-hosted, cookie-free product analytics.
- Advertising network (future) — once enabled, a third-party ad network may serve ads to Free-plan users; this section will be updated with the specific provider(s) and will require prior consent for any tracking-based ads.
5. International Data Transfers
Some processors (notably Google Firebase / Google Cloud) may process or store data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer is safeguarded through the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or another legally recognized transfer mechanism, as offered by the respective processor.
6. Data Retention
- Account & style data: retained for as long as your account is active, and deleted (or anonymized) within 30 days of account deletion, subject to backup rotation.
- Billing records: retained per Italian accounting/tax law (typically 10 years).
- Contact form submissions: retained in our inbox only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.
- Aggregate analytics: retained indefinitely in anonymized/aggregated form.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") of your data;
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing;
- Restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
You can exercise your access, portability, and erasure rights yourself, at any time, from your Account page: use Export my data to download a copy of your data, or Delete account to permanently remove your account and associated data. For any other request, contact us via the contact form.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority — Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it) — or with the supervisory authority of your EU member state of residence.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or otherwise collect personal data from, children under 16 without verifiable parental or guardian consent, in accordance with Art. 8 GDPR. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We rely on our processors' security controls (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring) and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures on our own systems to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves (e.g. new processors, new features). The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated to registered users.
11. Contact
For privacy inquiries, contact the data controller, Ardit Tashi, via the contact form or at hello@typeblend.com.
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TypeBlend (typeblend.com, the "Service"), operated by Ardit Tashi, P.IVA IT11291420963, Milan, Italy ("we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
TypeBlend provides an online tool for generating font pairings, color palettes, and brand style previews, plus optional accounts to save and publish styles, and paid subscription plans with additional features. The free core generator does not require an account.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or abusive.
3. Acceptable Use
You may not: use the Service for any illegal purpose; attempt to exploit, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service; scrape or bulk-download content without permission; upload or publish content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, or abusive; or attempt to circumvent plan limits or payment obligations.
4. User-Generated Content
When you save a style and mark it as public, you grant TypeBlend a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, host, and distribute that style (font names, color values, and title you provide) on the Explore gallery and on your public profile page, for as long as it remains public or your account exists. You retain ownership of your styles and may make them private or delete them at any time. You are responsible for ensuring your public content does not infringe others' rights.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
5.1 Plans
TypeBlend offers a Free plan and paid Pro and Team plans, billed monthly, annually, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, as described on our Pricing page. Feature limits and pricing may change; we will give reasonable notice of changes affecting existing subscribers.
5.2 Auto-renewal & cancellation
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your Account page; your plan remains active until the end of the period you already paid for, after which it will not renew. Lifetime purchases are one-time and do not renew.
5.3 Right of withdrawal (EU digital content)
Under EU consumer law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase of digital content without giving a reason. Because TypeBlend Pro/Team features are made available to you immediately upon payment, by subscribing you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal once the paid features have been made available to you, in accordance with Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. If you have not yet used any paid feature, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will review withdrawal requests in good faith.
5.4 Refunds
Outside of the statutory withdrawal right above, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis (e.g. accidental duplicate charges, service unavailability). Contact us via the contact form with your request.
5.5 Payment processing
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Prices are shown inclusive/exclusive of VAT as applicable and may be subject to change with notice.
6. Intellectual Property
- Fonts offered through TypeBlend are sourced from Google Fonts and are licensed under the SIL Open Font License or Apache License 2.0; you are free to use them commercially per their respective licenses.
- Color palettes and CSS/code snippets generated by TypeBlend are yours to use without restriction in personal and commercial projects.
- The TypeBlend name, logo, and website design are owned by Ardit Tashi. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works of the website itself without permission.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TypeBlend and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Italian or EU law (e.g. for fraud or gross negligence).
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules granting you the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence, any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated to registered users.
Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) TypeBlend uses, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Categories We Use
| Category | Purpose | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Firebase Authentication session/auth tokens so you stay signed in; basic security & load-balancing cookies from Cloudflare. | No — required for the Service to function |
| Functional | localStorage to remember your saved styles (when not signed in), UI preferences, and your cookie-consent choice (tb_consent). | No — necessary to remember your choices |
| Analytics | Plausible Analytics — cookieless, aggregate page-view/usage statistics. No individual profiling. | We ask for consent as a courtesy even though Plausible sets no cookies |
| Advertising | Reserved for a future third-party ad network shown to Free-plan users. Not yet active; will only load tracking cookies after you consent. | Yes, once enabled |
The Consent Banner
On your first visit, a cookie-consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential (analytics/advertising) cookies. Your choice is stored as tb_consent in your browser's localStorage so we don't ask again. Strictly necessary and functional storage is always active because the Service cannot work without it.
Withdrawing Consent
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the tb_consent value — either via your browser's site settings (clear cookies/site data for typeblend.com) or by clearing localStorage through your browser's developer tools — which will show the consent banner again on your next visit. You can also block cookies entirely through your browser settings, though this may prevent sign-in from working.
Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase — sets authentication session cookies/tokens required for sign-in.
- Cloudflare — may set essential cookies for security and performance.
- Stripe — may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention, as required by payment card regulations.
- Plausible Analytics — does not use cookies.
- Google Fonts — font delivery CDN; may involve minimal technical requests to Google's servers.
